Today:
10:00 a.m. Sunday School for all ages
A new class will begin Sunday, September 5th for our college age. The class is being taught by Dee Baines and Nathan Light. The class will be held in the Christian Education Wing at the end of the hall.

5:00 p.m. WIC Council in the conference room.
5:00 p.m. Anyone who would like to help plan this year's "trunks of treats," please meet in the Advancers Sunday School Class.
5:45 p.m. "Friends Club" for ages toddler - 6th grade. Please meet in the Fellowship Class

Wednesday:
5:30 p.m. Supper in the Fellowship Hall. IMPORTANT: If you are planning on attending, please sign the sheet as you exit the sanctuary, so we will know how many to prepare for. This will assure us that we will not over or under prepare.
Menu: Spaghetti, bread, salad, dessert. Grilled cheese sandwiches will be available for the children if they would like.

Saturday, September 11th:
The younger youth will be going to White Fork Ranch (horseback riding, wagon ride, campfire, picnic lunch). You will leave the church by 10:15 a.m. and return by 1:30 p.m.. Please pack a bag lunch. Parents there is a waiver you will need to sign for your child. A sign-up sheet, flyers and the waiver is available on the table as you exit the sanctuary.
Saturday, September 11th:
Everyone is invited to the wedding of Field Ragan and Carrie Seigart at 3:00 p.m. here at the church. Reception immediately following the ceremony in the Fellowship Hall.
Sunday, September 19th, 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
All ladies are invited to a drop-in bridal shower for Jennifer Blake given by the WIC. They are registered at Bed Bath & Beyond and Target.
DAY OF REVIVAL PRAYER, Eastern Heights Presbyterian Church:
Thursday, September 23rd, 12:00 noon - 8:00 p.m.
Friday, September 24th - 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon
The "Day of Revival Prayer" will be open to anyone who would like to participate.
Saturday, September 25th:
Older/Younger Youth Event - 9:00 a.m. The youth will meet and go shopping for shoebox items for "Operation Christmas Child." The 2010 V.B.S. offering was designated for "Operation Christmas Child" and will be used to purchase these items. We will bring our purchases back to the church and pack our boxes. Lunch will be provided. Parents may pick up your children at 12:30 p.m. A sign-up sheet and flyers are available on the table as you exit the sanctuary.
Saturday, November 27th, Mark this date on your calendars!!
Volunteers (ages 13 up) are needed to work at the Distribution Center, Boone, North Carolina packing shoeboxes for "Operation Christmas Child." A sign-up sheet is on the table as you exit the sanctuary.
Items needed for food pantry: peanut butter, jelly, canned peaches and pineapple, beef stew.
A donation has been given to the Building Fund in memory of Jim Stergios and Ron Odum by Conrad and Joan Friede.
